We Were Here Blue Jays Game Scrapbook Layout

Hello Everyone

I wanted to share a layout I made from one of our Blue Jay games we attended last summer.  Those of you who know me know that I LOVE MY BLUE JAYS and JOSE BAUTISTA is my favourite Jay.  The layout is taken from a sketch from a two page sketch layout from Scrapbook Generations.  I used the left side of the sketch for this layout.  I made this simple layout using some older We R Memory Keepers papers from their Noted collection.  I love the greens and blues in this collection with the kraft.  I used one of the papers that had different border strips for my title with the three geotags.  I finished this layout with some enamel dots.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Scrappin'! :)

Little Red Wagon #339 Sending A Little Sunshine Card

Hello Everyone

This week's Little Red Wagon Challenge #339 is hosted by Heather and she wanted "Sunshiny Days" - using sun in our projects. :)
For this card I mixed Mama Elephant and WPlus 9 products along with distress inks and Copic markers.  I created my frame with scallop and rectangle dies after I had used my distress inks to create the grass and sky scene.  I popped out the frame with foam tape with give it some dimension.  The sentiment, sunshine and velum clouds  are from WPlus 9.  I coloured my Mama Elephant little girl with my Copic markers and popped her up with foam tape as well.  Just to add a little more interest to the scene I used a grass stamp with my distress ink and added some to the bottom (grass section) part of the card.

Little Red Wagon #338 Grad Shaker Card

Hello Everyone

This week's Little Red Wagon Challenge #338 is "Text Me!" :) Jan wanted to see some text paper or stamping projects! :)

So I created my own text paper using stamps on this simple note card.  The 'IT'S OK TO SHAKE ME' sentiment is from a Mama Elephant stamp set Surprise Sentiments.  I LOVE this sentiment for shaker cards!  This card was inspired by my daughter who is so looking forward to graduating Grade 8 this year and going onto high school.  The smile sentiment and the cap is for her as I know that's what she will be doing as she graduates in a couple more months!  I added some die cut stars and a bit of glass beads inside my shaker.  The cap is coloured with my Copics.  The large polka dots paper is from Lawn Fawn's Hello Sunshine collection and both it and the text panel were die cut with Mama Elephant's Index Card die set.  My card base is just a tad smaller than the polka dot paper so the scallops look like it's the card base and looks more pleasing to my eye.

CYCI Challenge #116 You're Awesome Star Shaker Card

Hello Everyone

This will be my last card as part of the Can You Case It? Design Team.  I would like to thank Eva and Elizabeth for asking me to be part of the DT.  I enjoyed the challenges and being part of this group over the past for months.

I created a shaker card for this card sketch challenge.  I die cut a trio of stars with my Lawn Fawn Stackable Puffy Stars dies and filled them with some glass beads in clear, red and white.  I added some red and silver sequins and completed the card with "you're awesome" sentiment.

We would love to see your takes on the challenges over on the CYCI blog.  Please make sure you read the guidelines before playing along.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Scrappin'! :)

Sketch N Scrap April 15th Layout - October Afternoon Love You

Hello Everyone

Today's layout sketch at Sketch N Scrap is one I designed
At the time I designed this sketch I had no idea what I wanted to do as my layout.  I came across these set of selfies my daughter had taken on my husband's phone when she was trying on this dress at a store.  I hadn't really planned on using these photos on a layout but when I was at a crop they were selling the polaroid die cuts and things just clicked.  (haha ;) ...no pun intended!)I know I always say it but I kept this layout pretty simple.  I loved using the Amy Tangerine word and heart thickers as my title and embellishments.  The papers were from an October Afternoon summer collection.

Little Red Wagon #337 Mama Elephant April Showers Card

Hello Everyone

This week's Little Red Wagon Challenge #337 is "April Showers" :) Brenda wanted to see some rain or water themed projects! :)

I created this note card for this challenge!  I pulled out some older Lawn Fawn scraps of paper and this older Mama Elephant stamp set and die.  I used my Copic markers to colour my umbrella and cute critter.  I love the versatility that photopolymer stamps give you and so for this card I curved the sentiment above the umbrella. The sentiment is from WPlus9.

CYCI Challenge #115 Happy Birthday Card

Hello Everyone

This week's challenge (#115) at Can You Case It? is a colour challenge.

This card came together easily.  I used the large round balloon die from a Lawn Fawn set to die cut the two balloons and their strings.  I added the sentiment from one of the Sale-A-Bration 2016 stamp sets from Stampin' Up! and my card was complete!

We would love to see your takes on the challenges over on the CYCI blog.  Please make sure you read the guidelines before playing along.

Little Red Wagon #336 Lawn Fawn Graduation Card

Hello Everyone

This week's Little Red Wagon Challenge #336 is "Celebrate" :) hosted by Jan.

This is the card I created for this challenge! I used scraps I had lying on my desk and created this grad card. I coloured the cap with my Copic markers and stamped my sentiment on a strip of white card stock. I added the grey card stock banner behind the sentiment. And of course I added a few clear sequins to finish the card off!

Sketch N Scrap April 5th Card Happiness and Cupcakes

Hello Everyone

I'm excited to be the sharing this cute card I  created for the card sketch I designed for Sketch N Scrap today!!

I used Mama Elephant and Taylored Expressions products for this card.  I don't generally use purples too often but I love these patterned papers from an older Taylored Expressions 6x6 pad and thought creating a cute cupcake card would be perfect for them.  I used my Copic markers for colouring of the cupcake and bear images.  I would have to say the sentiment of this card is probably my favourite part!...the adorable bear and cupcake a close second!!!
