Lawn Fawn Party Animals Happy Birthday

Hello Everyone!

I just wanted to share a birthday card I created with the Party Animal Stamp and Die sets from Lawn Fawn.  I coloured these awesome images with my Copic markers.  I used the stitched rectangle sets to create my frame and stamped some images from the same set with the Hippo ink pad to give it a tone-on-tone look.  I heat embossed the Happy Birthday sentiment with white embossing powder.

We all need birthday cards on hand and I encourage you to create some and keep them for those last minute birthday card needs! :)

Thank you for stopping by and Happy Scrappin'!

Birthday Invitation Using Lawn Fawn Stamping' UP! WPlus9 and Silhouette Cameo

Hello Everyone!

Happy Friday!!! :)  Today I'm sharing the invitation I created for my daughter's birthday party.  The gymnast image was one I got from the Silhouette Store and die cut with my Cameo.  The stamps and tag dies are Lawn Fawn and the ribbon and yardstick are Stamping  Up!. The inside dies is from a WPlus9 die set that I love.  I made eight of the same invitation.  I always make an extra for their Project Life / Scrapbook albums.

Hope I have inspired you today to make your party invitations (no matter what the occasion is) by using some of your paper craft products!:)

Thank you for stopping by and Happy Scrappin'!

Little Red Wagon #304 Challenge Turquoise, Pink and Green

Hello Everyone

It's Wednesday and that means it's time for Little Red Wagon Challenge #304 !! :)  This week Heather is hosting our challenge and it's a colour challenge.  The colours are PINK, TURQUOISE and GREEN!

My Lawn Fawn ink pads were the inspiration for this challenge.  I used them as the backgrounds for my elephants (I'm not sure if you have realized that I LOVE THESE CUTE ELEPHANT IMAGES FROM WPLUS9!!!...lol ;)).  I also used my Copic markers to colour their party hats.

This is what my card looks like:

Little Red Wagon Pick Up The Pieces Challenge #303

Hello Everyone

It's Wednesday and that means it's time for Little Red Wagon Challenge #303 !! :)  This week Carolyn is hosting our challenge and it's "Pick Up The Pieces!"

This week's card was made up with Lawn Fawn's Let's Polka Mon Amie petite paper pack as well as the Birthday Tags stamp set and Tag You're It dies.  Paper piecing is something that I have not done a lot of and was happy to challenge myself with something that I'm not too experienced in.

This is what I created:

Honour Roll - Sketch N Scrap August 15th Layout

Hello Everyone

Today I'm sharing a layout I created for the sketch Kelly Holyfield designed over at Sketch N Scrap

This 5x7 photo was the perfect photo for this sketch!  I used scraps from Elle's Studio's Day To Day product line. This layout came together easily because of the background paper I chose.  The designed on layers at the top helped in adding dimension without the bulk.  I did some stamping for my title and below my photo on some die cuts I had on my desk.  the Mama Elephant Tiny Heroes girl was as an after thought when it ended up on top of this layout as I was rummaging through my desk looking for my tape runner!  The colours were perfect for my photo and my daughter is one of my two super heroes!!!  :)

Hop on over and play along with us over at Sketch N Scrap.
We would love to see your cards and layouts creations with our Sketches!

Sisters - Sketch N Scrap August 2015 Twistback Thursday Layout

Hello Everyone

I created this layout for the Sketch N Scrap Twistback Thursday!  The layout sketch was created by one of the very talented sketch artists at Sketch N Scrap. This month's Twistback Thursday sketch is from November 2013 and the twist is to use a specific shape as your background and embellishments throughout the layout (circles, triangles, hexagons, stars, hearts etc.).

I have had these two photos to scrap for a while and this sketch and twist was the perfect time to use them!  I chose hearts as my shape and the background heart is vellum that I die cut and then stitched onto my base card stock.  I added some Studio Calico chipboard hearts throughout my layout as well.

Remember to play along with us over at Sketch N Scrap.
We would love to see your cards and layouts based on the our sketches!
Thank you for stopping by and Happy Scrappin'!

Lawn Fawn Hello Card for Little Red Wagon Challenge #302

Hello Everyone

I'm so excited to be hosting my first Little Red Wagon Challenge this week!! :)  This is challenge #302 and it's to use vellum on your card.

I hope you will join me and the Girlfriends and participate in this week's challenge!

I have been using vellum on many of my projects lately and love the softness it adds to projects.  It's a great way to add dimension as well as softening up some of those really vibrant patterned papers that we all love but are sometimes too much to use on our projects.

This is the card I created for this 'Vellum' challenge.  I used vellum to add dimension to my cloud layers on this card.  All the stamps and dies are from Lawn Fawn. My birds and bee were coloured with my Copic markers.  I hope my card as well as the cards from the Girlfriends inspires you to create cards using vellum and sharing them with us !!! :)

Thanks Shaker Card for Little Red Wagon Wednesday Challenge

************This is the 2nd post of the day.  For my Sketch N Scrap Post please click here************

Hello Everyone

It's Wednesday and that means it's time for Little Red Wagon Challenge #301 !! :)  This week Donna is hosting our challenge and it's "Shake It Up!"
This is the card I created for this week's challenge :)!!

This week's card was made up with a bit of a little bit of this company mixed this a little bit of that :).  In reality they were bits and pieces that hadn't made it on some of my other projects! My little girl with her hearts is from My Favorite Things.  I used my Copic markers to colour her.  The frame is from Lawn Fawn.  The sentiment is from Mama Elephant and the peachy-yellowy background I created with a couple of my Simon Say Stamp ink pads and then die cut with the largest SSS stitched rectangle die set.  I used vellum instead of acetate for the window of my shaker.  It's a good option if you don't have acetate on hand.  I used a variety of sequins for the shaker part.

I hope I have inspired you to make your own shaker cards and to see if you can use up parts of other projects that didn't make it on what you had originally intended!!! :)
