Project Life 2015 - Cover Page Ideas using Silhouette Cameo

Hello Everyone and Happy New Year (to those already in 2015)!!!!

I wanted to share my 2015 Project Life front page with you all.  This year I will be using different Design pockets for my weekly layouts.  I decided to use the Design E (from Becky Higgins PL pages) for my front cover - each pocket is 6x6.  I also did the backside of this as well because 2015 starts on Thursdays and so the page facing the backside will be my January 1- January 4.  I will start week 1 with January 5th (I start my weeks on Mondays).

I used my Silhouette Cameo for the die cuts for the layouts except for the bottom right corner pockets (both back and front) I used Simon Says Stamp exclusive die.  All my patterned papers are from the Becky Higgins Blush Core kit line.

Hope you all have a wonderful 2015 and please visit my blog regularly for Pocket-Style layouts, Scrapbook layouts and card making ideas! :)

Thank you for stopping by and Happy Scrappin'

STITCHED! SMILE - Lawn Fawn Stitched Circles Dies and Doodlebug papers

Hello Everyone

Today I'm sharing a layout I created with the new Stitched Circles from Lawn Fawn.  The patterned papers are from Doodlebug.  I used the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set from Stamping' Up! with Hero Arts Mid-tone inks for my background.  The stitched SMILE was created using Amy Tangerine's template and DMC floss.

JOVIE...Our Elf On The Shelf Christmas Tree Layout using Lawn Fawn Products

I was very inspired by Cathy's layouts Christmas Trees, Several Ways  (Design team member Scrap Your Scraps).  I love creating layouts with the bits and scraps of paper I have left over from previous projects. When I saw Cathy's idea I knew what I would do with the scraps I had left over from a project I had just finished that were still all over my desk!

Thanks for stopping by and HAPPY SCRAPPIN'!

Sketch N Scrap December 20th 2014 card - Mama Elephant Tag Die Holiday Card

Hello Everyone
I'm so excited to be sharing this month's second and final Sketch N Scrap card of the year with you today!  This is the card sketch created by Lisa Hidy one of the very talented sketch artists and co-owners at Sketch N Scrap.
I decided to use the Mama Elephant tag dies to create a tag card.  I just let my die hang a tiny bit over the top of my top scored card base and was able to have the stitching from the die all around the card base.  I then layered the cute presents patterned paper from Doodlebug. I also used a layer of Vellum on the base of the card in order to mute down the busy pattern but have still be visible.  The two strips and tag reinforcer are from the 6x6 Doodlebug patterned paper pack as well.  The adorable reindeer is from Lawn Fawn and coloured with Copic markers.  The sentiment is also from Lawn Fawn.

Remember to play along with us over at Sketch N Scrap this month and have a chance to win this package of goodies from me! :)

Hot Cocoa Cones using Pretty Pink Posh tag

Hello Everyone

Just a quick blog post.  I wanted to share these Hot Cocoa Cones I made for my kids teachers and school office staff.  I had made 150 of these before for work and thought that these would be great as a gift for the teachers gifts along with the box of handmade Christmas cards I made for each of them.

For these Hot Cocoa Cones I used the tag die from Pretty Pink Posh and the snow flake is from Lawn Fawn.

The Box of cards are made using the Box board from Stamping ' Up! (or We R Memory Makers) and the tags were created using Stamping' Up! stamps and ribbons.

December Daily 2014 DIY using Lawn Fawn Papers and Dies

Hello Everyone
Today I'm sharing my December Daily 4x6 and 3x4 cards I created using 1/2 package of the Lawn Fawn Snow Day Petite Paper Pack and some of the stand alone dies that Lawn Fawn has.  I used the Speech Bubble Border Die, the 4x6 Stitched Journaling Card Die set, the Stitched Journaling Card Die set, the Stitched Party Banner Die set, the Stitched Snowflakes Die set, the letter "r" for my front page is from the Louie's ABCs Die set. I spelled "DECEMBER" using Finley's ABCs. The "daily 2014" is stamped using Clark's ABCs.  The snowman is from the Making Frosty Friends Stamp Set and Die Set.  The penguin and the chunk of ice are from Winter Penguin Stamp and Die along with Critters in the Arctic stamp set and die.  Finally for my front page I used the Scripty"JOY" die.

The whole thing was quite easy to do and though I did use a lot of different Lawn Fawn sets you can make do with less and get beautiful results and satisfaction in creating your own unique December Daily album with products you can use all year round for the most part.  With the basic stand alone dies and Alphabet stamp sets you can create beautiful pocket style/Project Life layouts all year.  These Lawn Fawn dies and Alphabet sets have become my go to dies when I what to create Project Life (and December Daily) layouts.  You can also use them for Card Making, Traditional layouts and 3-d paper crafting projects too!  They are well worth the investment in purchasing them!

Hope I have inspired you to create your own December Daily cards for your album or even to try and incorporate these amazing dies and stamps into your other paper crafting projects.

I used a 5x7 photo for this layout.  I used some of the papers from the Echo Park Capture Life collection pack.  The stitching is from Amy Tangerine's stitching templates.  The stamping and dies for the camera, thumbs up and hearts are from Lawn Fawn.
