Sad To See Two Peas In A Bucket Close...

Hello Everyone

Today I just wanted to share some of my older layouts that I had posted onto the Two Peas Site.  I am very sad to see that Two Peas is shutting down after being a pioneer in the Papercrafting industry and the first place I started purchasing my scrapbook items online.  I have loved and been inspired by a lot of the Garden Girls over the years.  I love watching the daily /monthly videos uploaded by them.  It will definitely put a whole in my daily morning routine not being able to cruise through the TwoPeas website.

A Card (Gift Card Holder for a Teacher) And A Fall Layout...

Hello Everyone

Today I'm sharing a gift card holder and a layout I created.  The gift card holder I made was for the end of school year gift for one of my daughters' teacher.

I used Stampin' Up! card stock and embossing folder.  The stamping is from a variety of manufacturers:  October Afternoon, Studio Calico/Hero Arts and Lawn Fawn.  The inspiration for the saying on the front was from the A+ (my daughter really liked having this teacher).... and I thought well why not give the teacher a grade:  FOR THE RECORD:  YOU'RE AN A+ TEACHER!

Now for the layout I created here.  I wanted to use these two photos of my girls from our Fall Photoshoot from a couple of years ago and wanted to use my Notable papers from We R Memory Keepers that I had purchased last year and hadn't used a lot yet.  It's a very simple layout without a lot of embellishments because I wanted to keep the focus on the photos.

LoveBurst Layout - Ink and Stencils Background Contribution by Mandy Reedyk

Hello Everyone

Today I'm sharing a layout I was inspired to create when I saw Audrey's layouts.  I used my mists and my Heidi Swapp Sunburst Stencil.  I really didn't know what I wanted to do but just play around and see what it would look like using my Primrose Heidi Swapp Shine Mist with the Stencil.  This photo has been on my desk for a while waiting to be scrapbooked.  It's one of those things that wasn't planned but as I was cleaning my desk this photo ended up on top of the misted page..... I also added some stitching to this layout as well to add dimension without a lot of bulk.  This is what I ended up with... :)

Scrap Your Hearts Content contributed by Mandy Reedyk

I was very inspired by Cat Martin's layout (Design team member Scrap Your Scraps).  I love creating layouts with the bits and scraps of paper I have left over from previous projects.  If there is a line of papers I fall in love with I want to make sure that I use every little bit of them up and it's usually the layouts that I feel happy and content about when finished.  I thought I would share this layout in which I have only scraps.

Sparkle & Shine Layout using Heidi Swapp products

Hello Everyone

Today I'm sharing a layout I created with Heidi Swapp paper pad, die-cuts and mists.  I love this colour palette of pinks, aquas and kraft with black and white.  This was a pretty simple layout with black card stock as the background and using scraps of patterned paper in a block style and my photo as centre stage.  Some vellum and die-cut stars as the main embellishments.  I used the title in my photo as the main title and added a couple of sub-titles as well.  Some mists and enamel dots complete this layout.

More Cards with new Stampin' Up! 2014-2016 In-Colors

Hello Everyone

Today I'm sharing a couple of cards I created using the new Stampin' Up! 2014-2016 In-Colors.  The first one I used Mossy Meadow as the base and the Word Bubbles Framelits Dies and various Thank You sayings.  The centre word bubble is really an oval framelits die.

The second card is a screen card with three panels.  Again I used the Mossy Meadow for the base.  I only used 1/2 sheet of card stock for it.  The measurements are 5 1/2 x 10 3/4 scored at 2 3/4 and 5 1/2.  I used the Decorative Label Punch for the bottom and the scallop border punch for the top.  I used Work of Art, Perfect Pennants and Yippee-Skippee stamp sets.

If you do not have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator currently and live in Canada you can go to my website http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/kidscollage/ where you can go through and place orders on any Stampin' Up! product or contact me if you have any questions

A Perfect Day... Mother's Day Layout

Hello Everyone
Today I'm sharing a layout I created using the stitched circle die in the new Lawn Fawn Stitched Party Banners die set.  I used it to die cut circles from the Hello Sunshine 6x6 paper pad from Lawn Fawn.  I sprinkled sequins and flairs throughout the layout.  The background is grey and I faux stitched with a white gel pen 1/2" from the edge all around.

Using Vellum To Mute Out Busy Patterned Paper as Background

Hello Everyone

Today I'm sharing a layout I created using vellum to mute out the busy bold background paper I used. I stitched a sheet of vellum onto the background paper leaving about a quarter inch border with a sewing machine. It makes the beautiful busy and bold patterned paper easier to work with and doesn't compete with my photos (which are always my main attraction).
